Important Announcement:

I am "archiving" the HyperTexas website and asking my loyal visitors to go to my new site, www.showmethedemo.com where I will be updating more frequently. Since 1993, I'm proud to have participated in the growth of the WWW and will devote more time to creating fresh and relevant content for both Adobe RoboHelp and Adobe Captivate at the new site. I wanted to keep this site up for archival purposes, so it will remain indefinitely.
Thanks!
John

A must for any user of Adobe RoboHELP or Adobe Captivate:

Other popular and useful sites:

Microsoft Documentation: Main reference for MS HTML Help (.chm) format

Trends in MS Help formats: Trends in MS Help formats as well as practical tips for HTML Help, visit Rob Chandler's essential website - www.helpware.net

For the archives: The Winhlp-L mailing list, has been shut down. Long a watering hole for the MS Windows online help community since February 1994, the 1,900 member listserv was created by George Byrnes (thanx, George!) and run from a server hosted (gratis) at Humber College in Ontario, Canada.

In Memoriam: A long-time fellow RoboHelp instructor, Greg Cone passed away over the weekend. Someone ran a stop sign and killed his whole family. I often recommended Greg's fine articles on the Adobe DevCenter and he will be greatly missed.
